turkai.io uses no cookies or tracking tools. Your personal data is processed only when you contact us, and only to reply to you.

To be completed before publishing: The highlighted field in square brackets is a placeholder that the site owner must fill in. This notice is a general template; having it reviewed by a lawyer before publication is recommended. The Turkish version prepared under Law No. 6698 (KVKK) is the governing text.

1. Data controller

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by Ahmet Pulat (“turkai.io”) as data controller, as described below.

2. What data is processed on the site?

Cookies and tracking: turkai.io uses no cookies, advertising, analytics or tracking tools. Fonts and all other files are loaded from our own server; no data is sent to third-party services while you browse.

Browser storage: So that the intro screen on the home page is shown only on your first visit, a flag named “turkai-acilis”, containing no personal data, is saved in your browser’s local storage. It is never sent to the server and you can delete it in your browser settings.

Server logs: Our hosting provider, Hostinger, may keep technical logs such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser details for 30 days for security and to keep the service running.

When you contact us: If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process your name, contact details and the content of your message.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

  • Answering your questions and requests: legitimate interest of the data controller, KVKK Art. 5/2-(f), and, where your request relates to a contract, Art. 5/2-(c).
  • Keeping the site secure and running (server logs): KVKK Art. 5/2-(f).
  • Complying with legal obligations: KVKK Art. 5/2-(ç).

Your personal data is never used for marketing and never sold.

4. Transfers

Strictly for the purposes above and where necessary, your personal data may be shared with our hosting and email provider (Hostinger) and with legally authorised public authorities.

WhatsApp is a service provided by Meta Platforms. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your messages may be transmitted via servers abroad and WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply. Using this channel is optional; you can also reach us by email or phone. Transfers abroad are carried out in line with KVKK Art. 9. [Legal basis for transfers abroad to be confirmed by a lawyer]

5. Retention

Correspondence is kept for 1 year after your request is resolved, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

6. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

By applying to the data controller you may: learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected; ask for deletion or destruction under KVKK Art. 7; ask for these actions to be notified to third parties; object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

7. How to apply

You can send requests about your rights in writing to İskele Meydanı No:6/A, Göcek, Fethiye / Muğla or by email to ahmetpulat@turkai.io, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
